The Australian College of Management and Innovation (ACMi) is proud to announce the launch of the ACMi Civil Construction and Design Lab, along with key enhancements to its Civil Construction Design program, ensuring stronger alignment with current industry standards and demands.
Key Features:
➡ Career Episodes: Students complete over three episodes, with two showcasing core unit competencies in simulated or real-world contexts.
➡ ACMi Lab: A purpose-built, on-site lab simulates industry settings, supervised by qualified trainers with relevant or higher, Master’s or PhD qualifications.
➡ Rubric Assessments: Clear rubrics help identify skill gaps and guide improvement.
➡ Capstone Project: Students complete a major project applying engineering principles to real or simulated challenges.
These updates will provide our students with greater opportunities to enter the market with confidence and stand out in the civil construction industry, equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. The enhancements apply to both current students and new enrolments from 1 July 2025.
