Entry Requirements
To ensure an appropriate learning opportunity, student need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake study this qualification can be demonstrated via the following:
International Students
- Completion of a recognised degree or diploma or advanced diploma or equivalent. (Any field)
- Year 12 High school
- Student must be aged 18 or older
- Upper-intermediate Level of English or
- IELTS Academic 6.0 or
- PTE Academic Test Score of minimum 50 in each component or
- Others equivalent. (e.g., TOEFL, ISLPR, CSWE, General English, EAP) English language test scores.
You may be exempted to provide evidence of English Language competence if you have successfully completed below:
- 5 years study evidence in an English-speaking country.
- At least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO.
- An English foundation course in Australia
Note: Student will need to meet the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) www.homeaffairs.gov.au English language requirements for student visa applications.

Assessment
Assessment (Competency based Assessments only)
Assessment will include Portfolio, Projects, Reports, written questions, including case Assessment (Competency based Assessments only) studies and observation of relevant skills.
Required Resources
Students will have access to all the necessary resources such as lecture rooms, student amenities, free wi-fi internet connection, library access, and course learning materials to enhance their learning experience and complete their assignments.
Student Support and Pathways
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Support
For all students, LLN is a key underpinning skill that will support each individual’s vocational learning, the development of their employability skills, and their workplace communication skills whatever level of course or training they are doing. Accordingly, the Australian College of Management and Innovation has a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) policy to guide the student support process with LLN.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) / Credit Transfer (CT)
Australian College of Management and Innovation provides Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT) opportunities to all students. Learners may apply for RPL/CT prior to or immediately after formal enrolment, but before the facilitated delivery of units, to ensure they do not miss any class or workshop opportunities offered should they be unsuccessful in the RPL process.
Academic Pathways
Pathways for the students who have successfully completed the BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) are the following:
- Masters of Business and/or Management, or
- Enrol in another relevant course within an Australian University
Australian College of Management and Innovation shall provide students with the required information regarding their pathway options as a part of student support.
Note: As each unit is delivered as a standalone unit, students who do not successfully achieve competency in all of the required 8 units for this qualification/course, will not be awarded this qualification. However, students who successfully achieve competency in some units of this qualification can be issued with a Statement of Attainment for those individual units.

Student Orientation Sessions information
A culturally sensitive and age-appropriate orientation session is provided to all new students enrolling with ACMi, these are conducted in support of assisting students (and their families) to adjust to living in Australia, commencing their study and achieving the academic progress as outlined in their Training Plans. All information is to be provided without cost to the student. Our orientation program is accessible to all overseas students and allows for late arrivals and students who begin at different entry points.
Information provided at our orientation sessions is also available to prospective and current students via our International Student Handbooks and on our ACMi website (at www.acmi.wa.edu.au). Our orientation sessions include information for international students studying in Australia and will include:
- Support services available to assist in the transition into life and study in Australia
- Legal services
- Information on visa conditions relating to course progress and, if applicable, attendance
- Emergency and health services i.e., police, hospitals, fire, ambulance
- English language and study assistance programs
- Personal and crisis support services available and how to access them
- Information on employment rights and conditions, resolving workplace issues and services available such as the Fair Work Ombudsman
